Emergency services raced to the incident at the property on Foresterhill Road in Aberdeen after receiving reports a woman had been seriously injured by a dog at 11.15pm on Saturday. Crews attended but the woman, named as Michelle McLeod, 41, died at the scene.
A statement released through Police Scotland reads: “We are devastated by the loss of Michelle. She was a much-loved mother, daughter and friend to many and will be sorely missed by all who knew her.
