The Ukraine international moved to Chelsea in the January transfer window for a fee around £88.5m with Mudryk impressing at Shakhtar Donetsk over the last 18 months.
“He helped me a lot. I like him so much. We often joke about Arsenal, Chelsea and what colour London is,”“But I like this guy, he is a very funny and very kind guy. We spend time always [together] in a positive way.”Mudryk was still in Ukraine when Russia’s invasion of his homeland started and the new Chelsea signing is grateful to everyone for their support since moving to England.
Mudryk, who has struggled to have an impact at Chelsea since his arrival in the winter, is part of the Ukraine squad which will face England at Wembley on Sunday and he has praised England record goalscorer Harry Kane ahead of the fixture.
