L’Oréal Philippines has inaugurated a state-of-the-art distribution center in Calamba, Laguna, significantly expanding its logistical capabilities and underscoring its commitment to sustainable growth in the country.
The new 60,000 sqm hub, developed in partnership with Maersk, represents a threefold increase in size and a sevenfold increase in storage capacity compared to its predecessor.“This new distribution hub will enable us to reach that ambition while demonstrating our commitment to quality, innovation, supply chain excellence, and responsible practices,” said L’Oréal Philippines managing director Yassine Bakkari.
Aligning with the company’s sustainability program – “L’Oréal for the Future”, the hub strategically positions L’Oréal to enhance distribution speed and efficiency, particularly for e-commerce fulfillment, serving its customers nationwide. Maersk Philippines’ head of contract logistics SP Tan emphasized the power of shared responsibility and collaboration in driving positive change within supply chains.
