It's sad news as EA has announced that multiple Battlefield games and Mirror's Edge will be removed from sale next month and shut down later in the year...

Online services will also close in these games on December 8th."Starting April 28th, 2023, Battlefield 1943, Battlefield: Bad Company 1 & 2 and Mirror’s Edge will be removed from digital storefronts, and you will no longer be able to purchase them," EA announced in aon its website."This is in preparation for the retirement of the online services for these titles, which will happen on December 8th, 2023.
Once the server closure hits on December 8th, the entirety of Battlefield 1943's achievement list will be discontinued, 20 achievements will be discontinued in Battlefield: Bad Company, and 42 achievements will be discontinued in Battlefield: Bad Company 2 . Mirror's Edge features no online achievements, so you should still be able to complete that one after the server closure.
