Sony’s financial report indicates that multiple new titles have had their release dates put back, which might explain why PlayStation's current line-up is looking bit thin

An easily missed line in their recent financial results outlines their plans for the current financial year, ending March 2024, in which they list one of the negatives, that could impact their bottom line, as ‘changes in the launch dates of a portion of first party titles.’ It doesn’t say which first party titles, or how long they have been delayed for, but it is apparently multiple games that are having trouble.
