Investigations are underway after multiple vehicle burglaries were reported at two locations in the early morning hours of Sunday and Monday, according to the Montgomery Police Department.

MPD said officers responded to the 1900 block of Rosa L. Parks Avenue around 6:35 a.m. Sunday and to the 1200 block of Forest Avenue around 3:15 a.m. Monday, both after reports were made of burglaries to several vehicles. Investigators confirmed property was taken during the burglaries. The Montgomery Police Department declines, as a matter of policy, to specifically identify the names of businesses where a crime has been committed. However, multiple tips to WSFA 12 News have identified the locations as being Montgomery fire stations.WSFA 12 News reached out to Montgomery Fire/Rescue for a statement and was referred to the Montgomery Police Department for any available details.
