An inquest heard how Burnley teaching assistant Kelly Slater's vehicle veered out of control on a bend while she was on holiday in Tenerife with her partner
A British holidaymaker was killed in a go-karting crash in Tenerife as she took souvenir pictures whilst at the wheel, an inquest heard today. Kelly Slater, 33, was thought to have been taking selfies and moving images with her mobile phone on an organised race track when the 30mph go-kart she was driving veered out of control on a bend.
