A money-saving mum is sharing how she saved £30 on her weekly shop by ditching supermarket meats for cheaper alternatives. Diane Foulds saved on food costs by changing her shopping habits without compromising on the taste and quality of their meals.
They’ve switched their meat shop to online healthy food retailer MuscleFood.com saving them £30 a week and cutting their monthly meat food cost in half. With the help of the hamper, they dished up tasty and nutritious meals for less compared to their previous supermarket shop.Their favourite budget-friendly meals include sweet chili chicken noodles for 81p per portion, bang bang chicken for 91p each and coconut and lime curry for 85p per person.
“Even when spending less, we don’t want to compromise on good tasting food which fills us up for longer.” Tyler researched online to figure out who offered the best value for money by comparing the prices of store-bought food against online retailers.
