Esther Ghey said her daughter was viewing eating disorder and suicidal ideation content before she was murdered
Esther Ghey has said her daughter's life, particularly her final years, would have been 'much more happier and peaceful' if she didn't have a smartphone. Brianna Ghey, from Warrington , was 16 years old when she was lured to Culcheth Linear Park by her killers Scarlett Jenkinson and Eddie Ratcliffe. The Birchwood Community High School pupil was ambushed and stabbed 28 times on February 11 last year.
But after looking into it more, there's so many more worrying things actually available. As Brianna got older, she got more addicted to it and, during the pandemic, she was forced to live in an online world.
