Police have closed the case but mum Kerrie has demanded the evidence, including CCTV, be reviewed
A 17-year-old died after eating a rice cake at the restaurant where she worked, collapsing in her friend's garden. 12-months on police say they will take no further action after launching an investigation into potential gross negligence manslaughter.
Her actions, both gestures and words, have "caused her to accept that the food does not contain nuts", the letter reads. However, the letter says the CCTV "content could be open to challenge" and asking if it contains nuts is "not sufficient to put someone on notice of an allergy." Hollie had been working at the restaurant for three months, alongside studying, working in a café and working as a cleaner.
