They were getting ready for dinner when they noticed a familiar face staring back at them from the wall
A stunned family spotted an eerie painting resembling their son 'as a small girl' during a stay at a secluded B&B. Mum Jennie Stevenson said they noticed the artwork with a striking likeness to Barney, seven, while getting ready for dinner.
Jennie posted on Twitter: "Just arrived at our secluded rural B&B to find a painting of our youngest child depicted as a small girl. There's absolutely no terrifying precedent for this, so it's probably fine." Jennie saw the funny side, later joking that the family had "survived the night" after their spooky discovery. She said: "Did wake at on point to hear an unusual papery sound, as though someone was flipping the pages of a book."
