The child, wearing just a nappy, had climbed onto the roof as mum Erica Shadforth briefly went inside.
She was unaware her son was in danger while horrified onlookers desperately tried to get her attention by flashing their lights and honking horns.Eventually the mum pulled over and placed the boy unrestrained in the car with two other her other children,Shadforth was under extreme stress at the time as she tried to cope with looking after six young children - aged between nine and five-months-old, her lawyer said.Shadforth was yesterday fined AU$1,200 and banned from driving for three months.
