Juliann Quilligan gave a fake name when she was pulled over by police on the motorway
A single mum-of-two framed an innocent woman after she was caught driving a pick up truck without insurance on the M62 . Juliann Quilligan, 27, from Skelmersdale , falsely gave her name as Rebecca Williams after police stopped her Mitsubishi L200 which was illegally pulling a trailer along the motorway. She then kept silent as the victim unknowingly was given eight penalty points on her licence in court.
She denied the CCTV images shown were her. In mitigation her counsel Gareth Roberts said: “She is properly embarrassed and ashamed of the way she has acted. She wants to apologise through me for any distress and inconvenience she has caused to Miss Williams, whom she recognizes is an entirely innocent woman who did not deserve this. “For this woman, the prospect of going to custody is terrifying. She is a mother of small children and is pregnant with her third child.
