Pregnant mum forced to borrow money to feed her kids after £50 Asda delivery didn’t turn up for six days
A MOTHER-of four claims she had to take out a loan to feed her kids after her £50 Asda delivery didn't turn up — for six days.
Emptying out her bank account, the pregnant mum-of-four placed an order for bread, meat, snacks and other essentials with the supermarket giant last Friday evening.Left without a penny to spare, the mum from Stoke-on-Trent said she was forced to borrow money so she could put meals on the table over half-term.
"It was supposed to come on Saturday night between 6pm and 7pm — I rang them several times to chase them up," she exclaimed."At one point they claimed there was nothing on the system to say it hadn't been delivered."After purchasing the items and claiming to have waited nearly a week for the delivery, the doting mum says she had to borrow money from a friend."I had to take a loan out with a friend in the end so I could go to the supermarket.
She said: "I rely on supermarket deliveries and I've been using Asda for months — I've never had a problem before."They didn't seem to take my complaint seriously — all I wanted was the food I had paid for."
