Jenny Toole looks unrecognisable after shedding half of her body weight
A mum who lost 10 and a half stone has revealed the inspiration behind losing half of her body weight.
The 32-year-old, who cares for her young son Kristian, watched as the weight quickly dropped off through eating healthier and exercising.But it was some tragic news that really encouraged her to get fit - learning a friend's daughter had been diagnosed with two types of cancer. But her family were dealt another blow when she developed a limp and was diagnosed with leukaemia in May 2022.
"I realised I need to lose weight once and for all – for myself and for my son," the mum said. "I didn’t follow a specific diet plan but simply cut out loads of things, eat a high protein diet and keep a close eye on calories, carbs and fats. With neuroblastoma carrying an 80 per cent chance of relapse, Elizabeth's family are now raising funds to allow her to take part in a potentially life-saving trial.
