Mum of abandoned newborn ‘Baby Pearl’ found dead in woodland ‘faced police probes over deaths of two of her other kids’

An inquest into the baby's death today heard how four of Howarth's eight children - including Pearl - were dead and three were subject to police investigations. She told the inquest today how she believed she had a miscarriage on Christmas Day, 2017, while in the caravan in Heywood she shared with Hutchinson.
When asked how baby Pearl ended up in the woods, he added: "Because she put her there. She is the only person who knows about her. No one else knew about her daughter."
