'Always check on your family' 😢

The mum of a homeless woman who starred in a BBC documentary has paid a heartfelt tribute to her daughter who took her own life at the age of 23.

Paige Greenaway featured in Love And Drugs On The Street, which saw her open up about her ordeal of sleeping in a tent in a graveyard for seven years. An inquest into the 23-year-old’s death was opened earlier this month and heard how police forced entry into her home after friends became worried.Following her death, her heartbroken mum has told how Paige had turned her life around since filming the documentary in 2017.

Edell, 47, said the show drove her daughter to get a job as an Avon representative and she enrolled in a hair and beauty course at college. But Paige tragically passed away in Brighton on 9 February, just two weeks after Edell last saw her.‘This has come as a massive shock to us all, she was in such a good place. Paige really pulled up her socks and came back with a fight,’ she said.
