Mum scarred for life after £400 cosmetic procedure to remove stretch marks BURNT her stomach
A MUM-OF-THREE has revealed a £400 cosmetic treatment to get rid of her stretch marks has left her scarred for life.
However, Amiee - who works as a funeral coordinator - has instead been left with red scarring around her stomach after the skin became infected and now wishes she'd learnt to "embrace her body". Although Amiee had a consultation at the salon before having the procedure, she admitted she felt anxious before going in."I met with [the owner] and spoke about any concerns I had and set a time to go in and have it done."Amiee says the pain was 'worse than childbirth'However, the mum-of-three says she was in an enormous amount of pain throughout the procedure and immediately knew something was wrong.
She added: "It just wasn't getting better. She said the redness should go down and the scabs would drop of. Not only can it affect stretched areas, but parts of the body where fat is stored, such as your tummy, breasts, buttock and thighs
