A fundraiser in Scarlett's memory has raised over £15,000
The mother of eight year old Scarlett Rossborough has spoken of how her family hope to raise as much money as possible for the Air Ambulance in her memory.
"We were at work and a staff member from the Larne Community Care Centre who was with Scarlett had called to say that there had been a bad accident and that Scarlett had been hit by a car," Carol Anne recalled. "The night before the accident happened, she was organising her birthday party and she was telling me what she wanted to be when she grew up," she said.
"Before this happened, I knew that the service was there but had no information on it. Since I have done a bit of research, I found out that they solely work on contributions from the public and thought that it would be more beneficial to raise as much funds as we could in Scarlett’s wee name.
