Mum's heartbreaking tribute to 'little guardian angel' after daughter dies in waterfall tragedy
A SEVEN-year-old girl died after she and her mum were swept off their feet and dragged down waterfalls by a fierce current while they were paddling in a river.
"Everyone tried their best and I couldn't be any more grateful for the emergency teams all out trying to save us."We were playing in the fairy pools and next minute out of nowhere a current hit us both and swept us. She described the moment she was trapped on rocks as she watched her partner Sean pull Freya out of the water but tragically she knew instantly it was too late.
The GoFundMe page has raised over £7,000 since being set up this evening and plans to fund a horse and carriage and other magical things for her funeral.
