Absolutely heart-breaking
A heart-broken Yorkshire family has paid tribute to a 'remarkable' teenager who tragically died after falling from the roof of a shopping centre.
“He also really enjoyed his time at the NAPA performing arts academy. Noah loved to perform and he lit up the stage. As a family, we’re so grateful for the continued support we’re receiving from both Hymers and NAPA.” “Noah remains the most extraordinary and beautiful soul we’re ever likely to know. It was an honour and privilege to be his mum and share his short, yet full and vibrant life.”
“The Order of St John, in partnership with NHS Blood and Transplant, will formally recognise this important gift by awarding Noah the Order of St John United Kingdom Award for Organ Donation later this year. “Quite apart from his obvious talent and love of the theatre and performance, Noah had an eclectic taste in music, was passionate about all things Japanese and was, by all accounts, developing his skills to become a first-rate chef.
Noah and his family lived in Indonesia for six months when he was a child due t his dad's job as a qualified pilot. His parents split up amicably when he was six years old, and Charlotte said Noah was close with her new partner. It's understood Noah had had some issues with another group he was involved with that had been hard for him. They are thought to have been resumed a few weeks before his death - and those who knew him said he seemed normal before he died.
In a statement, one witness described walking out of St Stephen’s shopping centre just after 6pm on March 23, when she heard a loud bang and looked round to see a male lying on the ground. But she was unable to get to him as there was a locked gate in the area where he was found.
