Evan Hansen was discovered with serious injuries after leaving his home in the middle of the night.
Evan Hansen tragically passed away in hospital three days after being discovered with severe injuries on a path near the A19 in South Tyneside. He had vanished from his home during the night.His devastated family believe the teenager made the decision to take his own life.
Evan lived with his mum and four siblings Shannon, Brittany, 26, Zac, eight, and Alara, six. His family say he had dreams of becoming a business owner and he was passionate about sports."He loved boxing and running and football. He was going to do the Great North Run." Kirsty said: "He was really happy and wasn't a depressed person. I really did not see this coming. The night before he was really happy, he had just got a car from his uncle. He was taking photos in the car, he was so happy."
He was found injured by a dog walker on a cycle track not far from his home and was rushed to the Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle.His family initially thought the teen would pull through but his condition worsened on May 18 and he passed away with his mum by his hospital bedside.His family say they are eager for the police to wrap up their inquiries promptly so that Evan can finally be laid to rest.
