Amy Gibney was arrested outside a city centre pub for what she did to her new boyfriend
A mum who beat up her boyfriend outside Lidl in Liverpool city centre was serving a community order for battering a former partner at the time. Amy Gibney, 38, punched, kicked and stamped on Lee Roach as he laid motionless on the ground, leaving him covered in blood. Just one month before the attack, which took place at 9.30pm on July 25 this year, the mum had been handed a community order at Sefton Magistrates' Court, having pleaded guilty to battering another man, John Cotgreave.
On December 29, after being recalled to prison for breaching the terms of her parole, she posted: 'Just got back out over a 7 day recall. 3rd Christmas in a row. Gutted this is all still the snowball effect from my last relationship . Oh well. Always next year xxx.' Another post read: 'I don't no why I moan about 7 curfew. As am ready for my bed at that time anyway.
