While smoking hasn't been proven to cause miscarriages, it's well known that smoking can increase your chances of having complications.NHS advisor Claire Stagg told Kent Online that second and third-hand smoke can result in children have more illnesses, eczema, asthma and ear issues. Claire explained: "We have a chart we show to our mums when we see them. It kind of hits home a little bit.What happens at the first stop smoking session?At your first meeting with an adviser, you'll talk about why you smoke and why you want to quit, as well as any attempts you've made to quit in the past. You'll also be able to decide on a quit date.
"Overall, you're up to four times more likely to stop smoking for good if you use a combination of stop smoking treatment and receive support from an NHS Stop Smoking Service." she says.
