The clocks will be going forward by an hour at 1am on Sunday March 31 this year.

hi. I know how much you like everybody being equal. But this year a whole hour is being taken off of Mother’s Day due to the clock change. Total injustice. Ha haFor us Mother's Day happens to fall on the same day as the clock change, so we lose an hour of our special day. It has happened frequently I might add. Conspiracy?🤔😀The proposal will require EU members to stop the clock change from 2021, and choose either permanent summer time or winter time.

European commission president, Jean-Claude Juncker, said: ‘Clock-changing must stop. Member states should themselves decide whether their citizens live in summer or winter time.’ Post-Brexit, this could become a thorny issue and lead to complications on the island of Ireland, with Dublin and Belfast being an hour out of sync with each other, if the UK does not also abandon the concept of Daylight Savings Time .
