'Nosy' murder accused searched online for details of electrician’s home before he was shot dead, jury told
A woman accused of helping to plot the alleged murder of a man she’d been on a Tinder date with looked up details of his home online because she was ‘nosy’, a trial heard. Rachel Fulstow spent a fifth day being questioned about the killing of electrician Liam Smith in court.
Prosecutor Jason Pitter KC asked her why she ‘needed this level of detail about Mr Smith’s home’. "I didn't need it,” she replied. “Zoopla is a site that I use through work. "I just looked out of nosiness I believe, because it was being brought up,” she said. She was also asked about searches for 'how long does it take for a car to burn’ and ‘do speed cameras have ANPR’, telling jurors she didn’t remember why she made the queries.
"Because he had said to me 'you're the link, and we're connected for life now,” she replied. Ms Fulstow admitted that she’d lied in her interview with police. "His words, yes,” she replied. "He said to me 'you don't tell them what I've done, you don't snitch'.
