A 70-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after emergency services were called to the site shortly before 5pm yesterday.
A murder investigation has been launched after a woman was found with 'significant injuries' at a holiday park.
Despite the best efforts of medics, the woman was pronounced dead at the scene around 30 minutes later. Neil Meade, Detective Inspector from Avon and Somerset's Major Crime Investigation Team , said: "Our thoughts are with the woman’s family during this time and we would like to reassure them and the local community that our MCIT will carry out a full and thorough investigation to establish the facts.
