A man arrested on suspicion of murdering a missing woman has been found dead in his police custody cell. Officers investigating the disappearance of Leicester woman Gabriela Kosilko detained a 30-year-old man in connection with her death on Tuesday.
Her car was later found abandoned in Leicester’s Ratby Lane after failing to return home from work the previous evening. On Thursday morning, police confirmed they had found a body in woodland close to Groby Pool yesterday afternoon. Det Chief Insp Sinski said: “Our enquiries into the circumstances surrounding Gabriela’s death continue and anyone who may have any information is asked to get in touch.
Top news stories today Detective Chief Inspector Sinski also said that all scene preservation as part of the investigation has been lifted. Officers will remain in the area while enquiries continue.
