Kyle Howard will appear in court today accused of the murder of Keeley Aspinall
Mr Howard, 26, of Tweedale Street, Rochdale , will appear at Manchester magistrates court today . Police were called to reports of a concern for a welfare at the property off Tweedale Street, at around 4pm.
Ms Aspinall, known to friends as Kiki, was pronounced dead at the scene. In a tribute released through GMP, her family said: "Gone too soon.. we can’t believe you are gone. We will always love you and miss you, love all your family xx.
"she was 'like a sister', adding: "She was the best friend anyone could ask for. I'm going to miss her so much, she will always be in my heart.
"Speaking on the day of Ms Aspinall's death, Temporary Det Chief Supt Jamie Daniels said: "We appreciate this incident is likely to cause some distress amongst the public and local community. I would like to reassure you that we believe this to be an isolated incident, which does not pose any further risk to the wider public.
