Murderer who 'couldn't remember' stabbing young Scot to death at flat party jailed for life

Scott Hector, 20, tragically died after being attacked with a knife in the city's Marischal Court in April, 2021. Sean O’Halloran, 20, pleaded guilty to murder and Connor Adams, 18, admitted an amended charge of culpable homicide during a hearing at the Edinburgh High Court last month.

O’Halloran, of Aberdeen, told police he couldn't remember the incident at the party as his head was "f***ed" from taking alcohol and drugs. He made the admission to detectives after being arrested for killing Mr Hector. Deborah Demick, Deputy Head National Homicide Team of the Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service , said: “We have heard from Scott’s family the devastating impact his murder has had on them. Sean O’Halloran and Conor Adams carried out a violent, unprovoked attack on Scott.
