Latest Nottingham Forest news as Reds head coach Nuno Espirito Santo discusses Brazilian defender Murillo
Head coach Nuno Espirito Santo is convinced there is plenty more to come from Nottingham Forest defender Murillo.
The 21-year-old had featured only a handful of times for Corinthians when he put pen to paper at the City Ground last summer. Once he broke into the side, he quickly impressed. "There are a lot of details he can still improve on but he has performed really well and I think he has all the characteristics to become even better."When we arrived he was already here and he was playing. So then it was about continuing the work Steve was already doing with him and trying to raise his standards. We set him a very high level because I believe he can reach that.”
There had been talk Murillo could get called up to the Brazil national squad for their upcoming friendlies with England and Spain. However, he was not included when the squad was named last week.
