Stereofunk festival near Hamilton will rename their main stage the Mallorca Lee arena in tribute to the late DJ
Stereofunk have planned the ultimate tribute to the "irreplaceable" DJ, after his shock death from cancer last month, aged just 51.
His son, Oceano Lee will also play at the festival, which Mallorca championed and personally promoted every year.Stevie said: "He was one of the good guys in the industry and genuinely loved seeing Stereofunk getting bigger. "When we introduced a big top for the main arena Mallorca quickly made it his own, totally rocking it to its core every time he took to the stage.
He added: "Quite simply Mallorca Lee is irreplaceable and he'll be missed not only by me but by everyone that attends Stereofunk every year - but we need to make sure his legend lives on. We need to keep his memory and his music alive forever.
