It seems as though some folks are going to expensive lengths to get a win in the ongoing MW3 multiplayer beta.

It seems that MW3’s currently ongoing beta hasn’t been entirely plain sailing, as players are reporting cheaters using an unexpected method in the beta. Reports seemed to increase when Rust was added to the MW3 beta map list over the weekend, and the beta went from only being available to those who had pre-ordered the game to a wider release. Users of the Modern Warfare 3 subreddit have posted clips of people shooting through the floor and killcams from places they shouldn’t be.

The community though, are worried for what this could mean when the doors to the beta get thrown open to PC players on the second weekend of the MW3 beta start date later this week. “These games are rife with cheaters and their garbage excuse for an anti-cheat doesn’t do anything,” claims Deux-Ex-MJ. However, some are pointing out the beta is the perfect place for players to get it out of their system, as it should allow the devs to identify and squash the bugs before launch proper.
