David Tierney and Cameron Robinson have both been jailed
A terrified mum woke to sounds of masked robbers breaking into her house, before pleading with them that her baby was asleep upstairs.
The pair ‘went through’ the house, taking cash and her iPhone so she couldn’t call the police. But after noticing the police were nearby, Tierney shouted: “Lights!” before the woman quickly unlocked the door and both were arrested. His phone was later analysed, and Tierney was found to be involved in the supply chain of items into prison.
“She recognised Cameron Robinson as someone she had known for several years and felt shocked and terrified.” In a statement, the woman said the incident had ‘knocked her sick’. “The children were upstairs in a place that is supposed to be safe and secure,” Ms Dagnall summarised.
