A GRADUATE spent nothing on rent for two months by looking after other peoples' swanky homes and cats.

Ruby Frances, 24, house-sat in five different properties when she first moved to London, doing chores and watering plants.The graduate looked after other peoples' homes while they were awayThe job saved her an estimated £1,350-a-month that she would have had to pay to live in a one-bed property in the capital.

Ruby, who moved from Wellington, New Zealand, in July, said the houses she stayed in were massive, including one with four-storeys. And she said it was like "squatting, girl-boss edition", adding: "I was just living our of a suitcase and going from house to house exploring London." The first home she looked after in North London would have been £500 for the five-nights she was there.
