I design the fake rooms in IKEA shops.
My first job was as an architect in Italy, where I am from. However, I soon realised that I really wanted to travel and live in another country and this wasn’t possible as an architect.
Every day is different: one day I’ll be sitting at my desk going through emails, having face to face meetings or Skype calls to develop projects.Sometimes I personally develop set designs, but I much prefer to take the opportunity to work with young interior designers from our stores to help them develop and grow.
When it comes to designing a room, it can take me anything from a single day to a whole week depending on how big the job is and what the deadline is.
