Chris Jones from Cumbernauld says he is "counting his blessings" that no one was injured in the "terrifying" incident on December 1.
When Chris arrived home at Spruce Road, the Scottish Fire Service had quickly extinguished the flames and secured the area. He initially wondered if the incident had been wilful, but told the Record that police and the fire service were able to rule out foul play within hours. "Witnesses told me that it started with sparks underneath the car and then, within a few minutes, there was a fireball. It all happened very quickly," the nutritionist said."It's scary and unbelievably dangerous.
