Girl, 9, killed after being electrocuted in the shower and stepdad dies trying to save her
A NINE-YEAR-OLD girl and her stepdad were killed after she was electrocuted in the shower and he desperately tried to save her, French cops have said.
Police launched an investigation into the mystery deaths as initial reports claim no electrical home appliance was involved in the tragedy.They found the girl lying in the bathtub with a shower head burned, France'sHer stepdad tried to pull her out of the tub and save her, but as soon as he touched her he was fatally electrocuted.
The girl's mother was also shocked by the electricity as she tried to intervene and was rushed to hospital in Royan, south west France.Autopsies will be carried out on both bodies today.
