Motorists have been left scratching their heads over the purpose of a mysterious button in their cars, but its function has finally been explained, potentially making Christmas shopping parking a breeze. A Reddit user shared their confusion after discovering an enigmatic button on the dashboard of their 2014 Peugeot 308, right next to the steering wheel, which they initially thought might be for radar detection.
"It's to the right of the steering wheel. To me it looks maybe like some kind of radar detection maybe, so mobile speed camera or something. Can anyone shed some light on what it does as I was hoping if I pressed it, it would come up on the centre console screen what it does but nothing happens?"
