A man has been sentenced to federal prison in a scheme to get $4 million worth of unnecessary specialty prescriptions filled through his employer’s health insurance.
Christopher Gualtieri, 51, of Franklin Township, Gloucester County, received a 42-month sentence on Tuesday, the U.S. Attorney’s Office District of New Jersey said in a news release. He pleaded guilty last summer to conspiracy to commit health care and mail fraud and obtaining oxycodone through fraud.
