Nadine Coyle has spoken on the iconic passport incident on Irish Popstars, and how she'd have been up for appearing on Derry Girls.
Speaking to Gay Times, the Girls Aloud star said: "When people see my passport, I think it’s triggering for them! I’ve literally had people gasp in airports because they’ve seen my passport. They’re like, ‘Oh my gosh, it’s the passport!’ She entered the UK version of the show, 'Popstars: The Rivals' the following year and became part of Girls Aloud.
"So when you look at the actual Derry Girls, that was me and my friends running around Derry going to that school! I wouldn’t say having the time of our lives because I hated school, but yeah, I was a huge fan of Derry Girls. I would have been up for that.
