NakedAndAfraid star Melanie Rauscher dies suddenly aged 35
Melanie Rauscher is said to have died aged 35 after being found at her friend’s home on Sunday 17 July.
According to Corey Kasun, a rep for the Prescott Police Department who spoke to TMZ, several cans of compressed air were found near Melanie, but it’s unclear if she’d consumed the contents of the cans. Fellow Naked and Afraid star Jeremy McCaa wrote on Facebook two days after her passing: “She came into my life in a way I can’t explain. We had such a chemistry on the show and it blossomed into a friendship that goes beyond words could describe. Her laughter was one of a kind. Her friendship was amazing. Even tho we wasn’t blood, we was family.
He went on: “You’ll always be my Mel. I love you and I’ll see you again one day. The world lost an amazing person. Please keep her family and friends in your prayers. See you again my Queen.”
