For the occasion, Portman wore a fringed, crystal-embellished flapper-style dress with a sheer bodice that was covered in tiny floral details.
The dress also featured an embroidered high collar and a drop waist that included strands of shimmering fringe that fell past her knees. She finished the look with a statement-making pinky ring, strappy silver shoes, and sparkling dangly earrings. For her beauty look, she wore her hair in a polished updo reminiscent of her Jackie O. role and kept her makeup low key with rosy cheeks and a taupe eyeshadow.
“My dress was hand-beaded and took hundreds of hours of work, so I’m really lucky to get to wear this, it’s like a garden on a dress,” Portman toldof her all-black look at the event. “It’s really exciting to see more companies putting forward sustainable and vegan materials,” she said. “I actually invested in a company called MycoWorks that produces mushroom leather, which a lot of luxury brands are now using.
