Natalie Portman is back on the market, and she’s dressing the part. Mere days after a stoge-fueled hangout with Normal People’s breakout heartthrob Paul Mescal sent the internet into a tizzy, Portman made another statement—this time with fashion. The newly single actor opted for her own interpretation of revenge dressing. Portman joined a friend for dinner at the see-and-be-seen Chiltern Firehouse in London.
She looked the part of a femme fatale in a red taffeta off-the-shoulder minidress from Jacquemus, complete with puffed, long sleeves, which she styled with black tights and black pointy-toe pumps. A longtime friend of Dior, she toted a bone-colored leather shoulder bag–the House’s Montaigne bag. Portman’s red hot ensemble is a far cry from Princess Diana’s Christina Stambolian dress that begot the term “Revenge Dress” altogether, but it’s got the same spirit.
