Natasha Jonas and Ivana Habazin fight at the Exhibition Centre on Saturday night
A war of words has broken out between Natasha Jonas and Ivana Habazin just days before they are set to meet in a huge unification fight. Jonas and Habazin will meet for the IBF and WBC welterweight titles at the Exhibition Centre on Saturday night. It will be the first time Jonas has fought since she beat Mikaela Mayer on points after 10 thrilling rounds of boxing at the M&S Bank Arena in January.
” Habazin claimed the WBC title when she outpointed Kinga Magyar back in April, and she has revealed she has left nothing to chance in her training camp to avoid home advantage kicking in this weekend. 'I've fought against hometown fighters before,” she said. 'Sometimes I've won, sometimes I've lost. But, of course, when you come to fight on someone else's show, hometown advantage is always there.
