TUCSON, Ariz. — The National Weather Service has confirmed that a tornado touched down in southern Tucson last night.According to the NWS, it may have happened on the southeast side north of the interstate.
According to the survey done by the NWS, several large trees were uprooted and a shipping container was tossed about 40 feet through a light fence with metal poles. There was also some light roof damage. 4 owlets fell out of their nest near Big Lake.
