Nationwide Building Society and online bank First Direct are offering customers free cash to switch their current account before Christmas 2021
New customers of Nationwide and First Direct have the chance to earn a free £175 before Christmas . The building society and online banks are offering incentives for customers to switch their banking services to them, in return for this cash bonus.
On the other hand, Nationwide customers can benefit from five percent interest on current account balances up to £1,500, along with a one percent cashback for 12 months. They must then switch from another bank using the Current Account Switching Service , transferring at least two direct debits or standing orders within 45 days.The £175 will be deposited by the 20th of the following month after the new customer fulfils the switch bonus criteria.To qualify for the FlexDirect deal from Nationwide Building Society, customers must not have switched into a Nationwide account or received switch cash from Nationwide since 18 August 2021.
