A spokesperson for the Chinese mission to the European Union called the statement full of “belligerent rhetoric”, that includes provocations, “lies, incitement and smears”.“As we all know, China is not the creator of the crisis in Ukraine,” a spokesperson said in a statement on Thursday in Beijing. “NATO in the North Atlantic is fundamental in terms of how the rules-based order is maintained around the world, including in the Indo-Pacific,” Mr Marles told reporters in Washington before the statement’s release.
“China has been working very hard for years to get Europe into its camp.
