Naya Rivera's family have released a heartbreaking statement after an autopsy confirmed that the star accidentally drowned.
Naya, 33, had been enjoying a day out on the lake on 8 July with her four year old son Josey, before she went missing and was presumed dead.A statement has been released by Naya’s representative on behalf of her devastated family, according to Deadline. “While we grieve the loss of our beautiful legend, we are blessed to honor her everlasting legacy and magnetic spirit.They continued: “Thank you to the men and women of the Ventura, Tulare, and San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Departments for your commitment and unwavering effort to find Naya.
"Heaven gained our sassy angel. We kindly request that our privacy be respected during this very difficult time.”
