THE National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) formally filed murder complaints against suspended Negros Oriental 3rd District Rep. Arnolfo Teves before the Department of Justice (DoJ) on Wednesday in connection with the killing of Negros Oriental governor Roel Degamo.
'It's ongoing. The NBI is here already. I was told by [NBI] Director [Medardo] De Limos that they are coming over to file the complaints. I think the panel of prosecutors were just convened to receive the complaints,' Justice Secretary Jesus Crispin Remulla told reporters.
He said that murder, multiple frustrated murder, multiple murder, and multiple attempted murder would be filed against Teves, whom Remulla tagged as the mastermind.Remulla said only Teves would be charged today because investigation is stil ongoing for other cases, suspects, roles and other crimes.'This is as regards to him.
